Uno

Uno is a browser-based card puzzle game that focuses on turn-based hand management and color-matching strategy. The game places players against computer-controlled opponents and tasks them with clearing their hand before anyone else. Each round starts with a full hand of cards, and players take turns matching either the color or number of the active card. Special action cards force opponents to draw cards, skip turns, or reverse play order, which changes momentum quickly. Players must watch opponent hands, track remaining cards, and decide when to use powerful cards instead of playing them immediately. As rounds continue, pressure increases when opponents approach low card counts. The game rewards planning, timing, and awareness rather than speed. Matches reset quickly, allowing players to jump back in and refine strategies across repeated rounds without long interruptions.

How to Play

The game begins by dealing a hand of cards to each player and placing one card face-up in the center. On your turn, you scan your hand and play a card that matches the active card’s color or number. If no valid option exists, you draw from the deck and may lose momentum. Action cards let you force opponents to draw extra cards, skip turns, or reverse play direction, which shifts control of the round. When you reduce your hand to one card, you must protect that position carefully to avoid being pushed back by penalties. Rounds end when a player empties their hand, and the game immediately moves into a new round. Success comes from balancing offense and defense while anticipating how opponents respond.
